How can I change my mailing address?
Just follow these easy and simple steps:
- Log in to your account
- Go to My Account > Edit Account Info > Postal Info
- You can now update your postal address
Activating Your Account
The instructions on activating your account will be sent to your email once you have submitted the registration form. If you did not receive this email, it may be blocked by your email service provider mailing software. You can try checking your junk / spam folder or contact us at help@thesamplestore.sg

What do you mean by points? How do I earn it?
Because you are important to us, we want to know what you think about our products. As an added value, everytime you rate our products you earn points which will go straight to your account.
2 points is added to your account for every review that you give. You will need those points in order for you to checkout our sample products. So keep on rating our products to keep on earning points!
Why is there a checkout limit? / What are all the checkout limits?
We came out with certain checkout restrictions to prevent some "black sheeps" from abusing the system that selfishly destroys the pleasant experience of finding suitable products.

- There must be a 48 hours interval between each checkout.
- Each member is entitled to one (1) unit of sample for each product.
- Your account must have sufficient points before you can checkout sample products.
- Kindly clear all pending payments before another checkout.
How can I track my orders & payment?
After login into your account, go to My Account, under Order Status , it will show the status of all your checkout history. For orders via registered postage, a tracking number (article tracking number) will be given to you after the receipt given from Singapore Post Limited(SingPost).
How to cancel my orders after I have made a checkout?
An automatic cancellation will be implemented once payment advice through Online Fund Transfer (OFT) will not be received within 60 minutes period immediately after checkout.
However you may cancel orders manually before payment is made.
After login into your account, simply go to My Account, under Notifications > make payment. Here, you will be able to select your payment method or cancel your order.
Note: Refund will not be given once payment is verified.

How long will it take for my order to arrive after I make payment? What happens if I did not receive my order after 14 working days?
Orders are immediately sent within two (2) to five (5) working days upon payment verification depending on the volume of orders received.
Estimated 4 working days(Singapore customers) & 6 - 10 working days(oversea customers) for orders paid via Paypal to recieve the orders.
Estimated 5 working days for orders paid via Online Fund Transfer(OFT) to recieve the orders. Online Fund Transfer(OFT) is applicable to Singapore customers only.
Note: A manual verification is done for Online Fund Transfer(OFT)

What happens to lost orders?
The Sample Store will not be liable for lost mail sent via normal(standard) postage. No refund will be given for lost orders caused by the courier.
What is the accumulated delivery fee for?
The accumulated delivery fee contributes to SingPost postage fee, in-house material & labour charges incurred for sending out the orders to you. Amount charged would vary depending on total weight of the package.
Sample-only checkout will enjoy $1.99 / $2.99 / $3.99(weight based) standard delivery fee.

How to make payment using POSB / DBS iBanking?
- Login to POSB / DBS iBanking: https://internet-banking.dbs.com.sg/IB/Welcome
- On their side menu, click "Funds Transfer" > "Funds Transfer: Add New DBS/POSB Payee"
- Insert IB NICK(found in payment form) as My Initials
- Select POSB Savings as Payee Account Type
- Insert 194-16923-0 as Payee Account No.
- Insert The Sample Store as Name of Payee
- You will recieve an sms from DBS with instructions on how to proceed.
- Go back to the side menu, click "Funds Transfer" > "Funds Transfer To Other DBS/POSB A/C"
- Fill up the form with the necessary information.
- Upon successful transfer, copy the Reference Number issued by DBS.
- Login to your account, go to My Account, under Notifications > make payment.
- Insert your "My Initials" & Reference Number and submit the form.
- All done and you can go here to track your order status.
How to make payment using ATM?
- Go to any ATM machine.
- Make payment within the stated grace period.
- Select POSB Savings as Account Type to transfer to
- Type 194-16923-0 as Account No. to transfer to
- Note the reference no. for the transfer.
- Log in to your thesamplestore.sg account. GO to My Account > under Notifications > Click here to clear your pending payment(s). or Click here and insert the reference/control number of the payment transfer.

Why must I make payment immediately as soon as I checkout?
Sample ordering is on "first-come-first-server" basis. To ensure that you can get your desired samples, it is recommended that you make your payment within 60 minutes immediately after checking out.
